Assoc. Prof. Anı Çinpolat | Plastic Surgeon in Istanbul

Assoc. Prof. Ani Çinpolat, EBOPRAS-certified plastic surgeon in Istanbul

Assoc. Prof. Anı Çinpolat is an EBOPRAS-certified plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon and a co-founder of Anka Plastic Surgery in Nişantaşı, Istanbul. Her main areas of work are breast surgery, body contouring, reconstructive surgery, scar treatment and regenerative medicine.

She plans aesthetic operations on the principles of reconstruction: blood supply, tissue transfer and wound healing. In breast surgery she uses a patient’s own tissue where the anatomy allows, and adds an implant only when it is needed.

Operations and treatments

Assoc. Prof. Çinpolat generally leads the following, with Assoc. Prof. Gamze Bektaş joining the team where appropriate:

Scar treatment and regenerative medicine

Scar treatment has been a particular interest of Assoc. Prof. Çinpolat since her years working in Antalya. She completed a master’s degree in Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering at İstinye University in 2021 and continues her doctoral research in the same department.

Scars are not only changes on the skin surface. Their appearance depends on how deep the wound was, its blood supply, inflammation, collagen organisation and how each person heals, so treatment is planned around the biology of each scar. Scars can often be improved, but they cannot be erased. Read about scar treatment →
