About Anka Plastic Surgery
Anka Plastic Surgery is a plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery clinic in Nişantaşı, Istanbul. It was founded in 2015 by two surgeons, Assoc. Prof. Anı Çinpolat and Assoc. Prof. Gamze Bektaş, who have been friends and colleagues since medical school.
We believe the choice of surgeon matters more than the choice of destination. Our patients know who will operate on them from the first assessment to the last follow-up.
Our story
We met at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 2004. We both then trained in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Akdeniz University, where we gained extensive experience in microsurgery and reconstruction. We were members of the multidisciplinary teams involved in the first uterus transplantation from a multi-organ donor and in Türkiye’s first face and upper-extremity transplantations.
From 2013 to 2015 we both worked with Prof. Dr. Ömer Özkan at his clinic in Antalya. Anı developed her experience in scar treatment and breast surgery, and Gamze in rhinoplasty, facial aesthetic surgery and non-surgical facial rejuvenation. In 2015 we decided to open a clinic of our own in Istanbul, and Anka Plastic Surgery began.
From 2018 to 2024 we also worked as faculty members at Yeni Yüzyıl University Faculty of Medicine. We taught plastic surgery to medical students and took part in reconstructive cases, including free flap surgery, while continuing to treat patients at Anka. We each hold a master’s degree in Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering from İstinye University.

How we work
- The same surgeons throughout. Your operation is planned and performed by our surgeons, who also see you for your follow-up.
- Individual planning. Age, tissue quality, anatomy, previous surgery and expectations all differ, so we do not apply one model to every patient.
- Honest advice. Where a simpler treatment is enough, we say so. No surgeon can guarantee a result, and we explain the risks of each operation before you decide.
- The right place for each treatment. Consultations, non-surgical treatments and selected procedures under local anaesthesia take place at our clinic. Operations that need general anaesthesia take place in a hospital.
- Follow-up that continues after you go home. We follow your recovery online for up to one year after surgery.
Our name
Our name comes from the legend of the Simurgh. A group of birds sets out to find the wise Simurgh, and the few that reach the end discover that the Simurgh they were looking for was, in a sense, themselves. We see aesthetic surgery in the same way: meaningful change does not always come from becoming someone different. Sometimes it comes from revealing a balance that was already there.

Our clinic is in Nişantaşı, Istanbul: Harbiye Mah. Kadırgalar Cad. No: 8, Açık Hava Apt., Kat: 5, Daire: 16, Şişli, 34367. We are open Monday to Saturday, 10:00–18:00. See our location on Google Maps.
Operations that need general anaesthesia are performed at Istanbul Cerrahi Hospital. Some patients choose Memorial Şişli Hospital, which we can arrange on request.
