Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)

The skin of the upper arms, particularly the inner area between the elbow and the armpit, tends to lose elasticity and sag with aging. How Is Arm Lift Surgery Performed?

Recovery Process

• An elastic bandage or compression garment is recommended
• Swelling and bruising may occur in the early stages and gradually resolve
• Most patients can be discharged on the same day

Return to daily activities is usually relatively quick; however, heavy lifting and strenuous arm movements should be avoided for a period of time.
