Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a targeted treatment method in which selected therapeutic substances are delivered directly into the dermis and superficial subcutaneous tissues through microinjections.

By administering active ingredients locally rather than systemically, mesotherapy allows for controlled and area-specific treatment. It is commonly used for various dermatological and aesthetic indications, particularly in cases involving skin quality concerns.

About the Surgeons

Dermal filler treatments at Anka are performed by Assoc. Prof. Gamze Bektaş, MD and Assoc. Prof. Anı Çinpolat, MD — both EBOPRAS-certified plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeons based in Istanbul, Turkey.

As board-certified plastic surgeons, both hold a master’s degree in stem cell and tissue engineering, providing a scientific foundation for their evidence-based regenerative and non-surgical treatment protocols.

Their approach emphasizes anatomical precision, tissue quality, and natural facial balance rather than excessive volume or trend-based interventions.

Common Indications

Mesotherapy may be considered for:

• Uneven skin tone and pigmentation
• Hair thinning and hair loss
• Localized fat deposits
• Cellulite appearance
• Facial rejuvenation
• Periocular fine lines
• Dark circles under the eyes

Treatment indication is determined individually after clinical evaluation.

Procedure

During the procedure, specially formulated solutions tailored to the treatment area and patient needs are injected using very fine needles.

Depending on the indication, these formulations may contain combinations of:

• Vitamins
• Amino acids
• Hyaluronic acid
• Peptides
• Circulation-supporting agents

This targeted approach allows the active ingredients to act directly within the treated tissue.

Treatment Protocol

Mesotherapy is usually performed as a series of sessions.

• An initial course of approximately three sessions
• Intervals of about two to three weeks

Maintenance sessions may be recommended depending on individual response and treatment goals.

The number of sessions and treatment intervals may vary according to the treated area and clinical indication.
