Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is an effective and safe method used to achieve long-term reduction of unwanted hair by means of laser technology. Although various laser systems are available, our clinic primarily uses Diode laser technology.

The basic principle of laser hair removal is based on the absorption of laser energy by melanin pigment within the hair follicle. This absorbed energy raises the temperature of the hair follicle to approximately 60–70°C, leading to thermal damage of the follicle and preventing or significantly reducing hair regrowth.

Alexandrite lasers tend to be more effective in individuals with fair skin; however, their use can be limited on tanned skin and during the summer months.
Diode lasers, on the other hand:
• Can be safely used on both fair and tanned skin types
• Are more effective on fine, light-colored, and deeply rooted hair follicles
• Can be applied safely during the summer

One of the main concerns during laser hair removal is discomfort or pain. The diode laser system used in our clinic is equipped with an advanced cooling mechanism, which protects the skin during treatment and allows the procedure to be performed with minimal discomfort and maximum patient comfort.

The number of treatment sessions varies depending on the individual’s skin type, hair structure, hormonal status, and the treated area, but typically ranges between 4 and 10 sessions.

When performed with appropriate technology and personalized settings, laser hair removal offers safe, effective, and long-lasting results.
